Driver Safety

All drivers of Kiddie Kabs student transportation undergo rigorous screening, background checks, and training. Kiddie Kabs offers this service to benefit our school districts and best meet the needs of students.

Rigorous screening

At least 21 years old
Preferred childcare experience
Successfully complete comprehensive interview
Clean driving record
National FBI background Check
Drug test

Ongoing licensing and certification

Thorough background checks above and beyond state requirements
Successfully completed state and company training programs
Continuous behind-the-wheel evaluations
Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements
Passed all additional local or school required driver qualification programs

We give regular training to our drivers, as well as a full toolset of safety resources developed in collaboration with industry leaders.
